Training Guide: What is Included? 

  • Complete Training Guide document (online/printed) 
    • The student will be given a Study Guide document that covers the training course. 
  • Instructor V.I Presentation 
    • The instructor will perform a vehicle inspection on the designated vehicle same as what the student will be doing. 
  • Student V.I Evaluation  
    • The student will be evaluated several times before examination day on their V.I.
  • Road Control Skill 
    • The student will be able to see and practice on the road with the designated vehicle.
    •  Road practice with an automatic transmission vehicle.

ELDT REQUIREMENT

If you are applying to obtain a Class A CDL or Class B CDL for the first time, you must take and pass the Class A or B Theory Course.
ELDT Theory Course MUST be completed before the first week of Training. ELDT Theory Course can be found at:  www.A1eldt.com
Once you completed the ELDT Theory Course a Certification will be issued, you must present the certificate to Florida CDL
